EcoMusician Glenn McClure will explore Music/Science collaborations through his new composition for Rochester’s premier Chamber Music Group, FivebyFive. He will invite the audience into his creative process that fuses together the descriptive power of scientific data and the emotional power of music. This process, called “sonification,” is the mathematical transformation of numerical data sets (related to eclipses) into melodies, harmonies, and rhythms.
