Irondequoit Eclipse Fest: Together in Totality
Event Navigation
The Helmer Nature is celebrating 50 years this year by throwing a huge eclipse party! In conjunction with the Town of Irondequoit Rec Center, the West Irondequoit Central School District, and the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County, we are please to announce the free community event Irondequoit Eclipse Fest: Together in Totality. Special attractions (besides of course the stars of the show, the sun and the moon) include a bounce house, food and drinks, informational sessions, ham radios, eclipse music on the PA system, telescopes, and large fields with plenty of viewing room. Glasses will be available at the event for a suggest cash or check donation of $2. Parking is accessible only; attendees are encouraged to park at a nearby school and walk or bike over, or take a shuttle running from the REC center parking lot to Helmer every 15 minutes.
