We are kicking off the month of April STRONG with our Black & Blue Total Solar Eclipse Event!

On Monday, April 8, 2024, we will be opening up the Cidery from 11:00 am-7:00 pm for a family-friendly opportunity to enjoy food and drink specials, live music by Double Dose, and a once-in-a-lifetime viewing of the total solar eclipse as it passes directly over the Cidery. Lucky for us, Blue Barn will be in the direct path of the total Eclipse! Yep, we said it, and maybe we’re bragging a little but WE’RE IN THE PATH OF TOTALITY. So nice of the Sun, Moon, and Earth to do us that honor.

Eclipse glasses will be available for safe viewing for $3. Entry to the Cidery is free, however, due to our parking lot size there will be a parking fee. So grab your friends and your family, pile into mom’s van, and carpool! Don’t want to pay for parking? We get it. We welcome you to get dropped off via Uber, Lyft, or ride your bicycle!

The Eclipse will occur regardless of weather. This event will take place rain or shine!

Pre-sale tickets or reservations are NOT available for this event! Indoor and outdoor tables are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Blankets and lawn chairs are also welcome in our lawn area!

Blue Barn Cidery is family-friendly, and we welcome you to bring your families to this event! Our outdoor seating is pet-friendly. In the case of inclement weather, pets are NOT allowed inside the Tasting Room. More information about our pet policy is on our website.

Blue Barn Cidery is managed by 5th-generation farmers, crafting small-batch hard ciders made exclusively from homegrown apples. The Tasting Room features homegrown ciders and local beers, wines, and liquors made from New York-State-grown ingredients.
